Adwiser is a tool that reads your Google Ads account and points out spend going to the wrong people. To do that, we need access to some of your data. This page explains exactly what, why, and how, in the way we'd want it explained to us.
If you only read four things on this page, read these.
We don't store your Google password. Authentication goes through Google's own OAuth flow. We get a token, not credentials.
When you first connect, we can read your account and write nothing. Making changes requires you to explicitly turn on write permissions.
Your account data is yours. We use it to give you reports and suggestions. We do not sell it. We do not share it for marketing.
One click in your Google account, or one click in Adwiser, revokes access immediately. Account deletion removes everything within 30 days.
Who we are
Adwiser AI (“Adwiser”, “we”, “us”) is the company behind adwiserai.com. We make a tool that connects to your Google Ads account, reads what's happening, and tells you in plain English where your spend is going to the wrong people.
This Privacy Policy describes what data we touch when you use Adwiser, and what we do with it.
What data we access
Two categories. We try to keep both as small as possible.
- — Your name and email (so you can log in)
- — Your Google Ads account ID, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads
- — Your search-terms report and conversion data
- — Your billing data (only what's needed to charge you)
- — Basic product analytics (which buttons you click, in aggregate)
- — Your Google account password (we never see it)
- — Your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any non-Ads Google data
- — Your customers' personal information beyond what's in your Ads account
- — Anything from any Google product other than Google Ads
- — Your bank account or full payment details (handled by Stripe)
Connection happens through Google OAuth. You click “Sign in with Google”, you choose what Adwiser can read, Google issues us a token. That's the entire access mechanism. You can see it and revoke it at any time in your Google account under Security → Third-party access.
Why we access it
We have two purposes. We don't have a third one.
- To run the product. Show you reports, score search terms by relevance, generate the weekly digest, apply changes you approve.
- To support you. If you email us with a question, we may look at your account to answer it. We log when we do.
We do not use your data to:
- Train general-purpose AI models
- Sell to data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else
- Build aggregate “industry benchmarks” without your explicit opt-in
- Market to your customers
Where it lives
Your account data lives on cloud servers we operate, located in the United States. Each customer's data is logically separated by account ID. Your data doesn't mix with another customer's in the same query.
We use a small number of vendors to make Adwiser work. They each see only what they need:

You can do all of the following at any time, without asking us first:
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA. We honor all of them. Email privacy@adwiserai.com.
Children
Adwiser is a B2B product for advertisers. It's not directed at anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you think we have, write to us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that meaningfully changes what we do with your data, we'll tell you by email beforethe change takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Older versions are kept and available on request. We don't quietly rewrite history.
